"What Are The Most Frequently Asked Questions?"

A: A standard 12 square house takes approximately one day for asbestos removal, one day to strip it out and two to three days once the excavator and trucks come on site. 

Q2)  Do you leave the site cleared to the builder's requirements?
A: Yes.  We demolish all buildings and structures, remove appropriate vegetation, footings and any building rubble under the surface.  The site is left clean and flattened ready for construction.

Q3)  Can you remove asbestos?

A: Yes.  All asbestos removal is carried out by our own licensed staff in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety, and Work cover regulations. Asbestos clearance certificates are supplied on every job. 

Q4)  How much notice is needed to book in a demolition?                  A: Two to three weeks is generally needed to
organise demolition permit applications and to arrange all

Q5)  Who organises permits and service disconnection?
A: Demolition Depot can collect the information the owner needs to start the demolition permit application, and can assist with service disconnections, but cannot do the final meter readings.  Tree removal permits need to obtained by the owner of the property.

Q6)  Are you a licensed demolition company?
A: Demolition Depot is fully licensed and registered with the Master Builders Association and fully insured.  Demolition Depot are also very active members of the Demolition Contractors
Association of Victoria.
